This Privacy Policy explains how GoCamo ("we", "us") collects, uses and safeguards information when you visit https://gocamo.net (the "Site") and use the GoCamo application (the "App"). By using the Site or App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Website

• Contact form data, your name, email address and message, submitted voluntarily so we can respond to you.
• Basic server logs, standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) kept for security and troubleshooting.

Application & licensing

• License key, the key you enter to activate the App.
• Device identifier, a non-identifying, hashed value derived from your machine, used to bind your license to your device(s).
• Device name, an optional label to help you recognise your own devices.
• Profile usage count, the number of profiles in use on each device, so we can enforce your plan's limits across devices.

Your browser profiles stay on your computer. The cookies, logins, browsing data and fingerprints inside your GoCamo profiles are stored locally on your machine and are not transmitted to us.

2. How we use information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
• To activate, validate and enforce the terms of your license.
• To operate, secure and improve the Site and App.
• To send transactional messages about your purchase or account where applicable.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we process your data on the bases of contract performance (delivering the App and license), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement) and consent (the contact form).

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the business, for example payment processors, email delivery and hosting, under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.

5. Cookies

The Site uses a strictly necessary session cookie to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy.

6. Data retention

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to handle your request and our records. Licensing data is retained for the life of the license plus a reasonable period thereafter. Server logs are rotated regularly.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and signed license responses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@gocamo.net.

9. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

10. Children

The Site and App are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
